Exterior Style

The well-equipped L trim has the signature bold Blazer styling and features active grille shutters, automatic high-intensity discharge headlamps, distinctive LED signature lighting, 18-inch bright alloy wheels, heated power door mirrors, body-color door handles, and LED taillights.

Blazer 2.5L Cloth adds deep tinted glass, while the Blazer 3.6L Leather offers automatic dimming door mirrors with turn signals, programmable power liftgate, and black roof rails. Stepping up to the sporty RS gets you a unique black gloss RS grille, dark 20-inch wheels, and a hands-free liftgate. The Premier trim has chrome-accented door handles and silver roof rails.

Power and Performance

L models are powered by a lively 2.5-liter engine delivering 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. You can get up to 27 mpg on the highway. Blazer 3.6L Cloth features a 305 horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine that produces 269 pound-feet of torque. It will return up to 26 mpg for highway driving.

Both engines feature start/stop technology for better fuel economy in the city and are mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is available on all models with the V-6 unit which has a maximum towing capacity of 4,500 pounds.

Interior

Inside the L trim is premium cloth upholstery with 60/40 split folding rear seats. With the rear seats folded you have up to 64.2 cubic feet of cargo space. Features include dual-zone climate control keyless entry and start, cruise control, a 4.2-inch cluster display, and a multifunction leather steering wheel.

Blazer 2.5L offers an eight-way power driver’s seat, while the 3.6L Leather features perforated leather upholstery with heated front seats, power passenger seat, and remote start. RS models get an 8-inch cluster display, heated steering wheel, and ambient lighting. Premier trim has ventilated and heated front seats, heated rear seats, and bright sill plates.

Technology

To keep you connected on the go, the L trim has a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, smartphone integration, an 8-inch touch screen, Bluetooth wireless with voice activation, USB ports, and a six-speaker sound system. The Blazer 2.5L Cloth adds satellite radio, and the RS has integrated navigation, an SD card reader, and a 120-volt power outlet. The Premier offers a premium Bose eight-speaker sound system.

Safety Features

Featured as standard on the Blazer are traction control, electronic stability control, rear camera, a teen driver function, tire fill alert, and tire pressure monitoring. Available on higher spec models are lane change alert, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision alert with pedestrian detection and automatic braking.
